A cookout for young creatives to gather and experience sustainability in action. Through this event, I had a goal to spread sustainability through intimate conversation about how we can make small changes in our daily lives to benefit the environment.

Our barbecue featured a menu by Chef Marlee Bagel, highlighting ethical, sustainable and local options for meats, cheeses and produce. We also received donations from Sweetgreen & Belcampo. We opted out of single-use plastics and presented compostable alternatives for plating, cutlery and food disposal.

Sustainable Summer BBQ fed nearly 60 people and barely left a trace of waste. Check out some footage of the event on our Instagram highlight.
